Antelope Canyon trip for a family of four
We left Qingdao with a family of four and had a direct flight to Las Vegas with a connecting flight in Beijing. After resting in Las Vegas for one night, we started our trip to the Antelope Canyon.
亚利桑那州别名大峡谷州，位于美国西南部。东接新墨西哥州，南毗连墨西哥，西隔科罗拉多河与加利福尼亚州相望，北部与内华达州、犹他州相连。北部隶属科罗拉多高原，占全州面积的2/5。科罗拉多河发源于落基山，奔腾呼啸经犹他州、亚利桑那州，由加利福尼亚州的加利福尼亚湾入海。科罗拉多大峡谷，便是由这股不可阻挡的大自然力量雕刻而成。3851米高的汉弗莱峰是州内最高点，位于高原中部，是一座由森林覆盖的死火山。全州3/5的部分，由南部山地和西南部大盆地构成。全州50%的地表为草地和木本群落区，40%为沙漠灌丛区，10%被森林覆盖。柱状仙人掌是亚利桑那州的州花，这里的代表性动物有猫头鹰、野猪、沙龟、蝎子、大毒蜥和响尾蛇。北部地势较高，常见动物有鹿、大野猫、长鼻浣熊等。
亚利桑那州矿产丰富，是美国最大的铜矿产区，主要矿产还有金、银、石油等。经济早期依赖于第一产业。二战后制造业发展迅速，在经济中占主导。主要部门有航空、电力、电讯、铝制品等。墨西哥是其第一大出口市场。州府菲尼克斯又译作凤凰城，是其最大城市，同时也是美国最大城市之一。优越的地理条件使得“暗天之城”弗拉格斯塔夫成为户外运动的天堂。国际暗天协会将这里认证为世界第一个“国际暗天社区”。国际黑暗夜空协会是专门与光污染做斗争的专业机构，使命是通过室外照明设备保存和保护夜间环境和黑暗的天空。萨瓜罗国家公园位处图森附近，这里保护了索诺兰沙漠的一部分，萨瓜罗巨柱仙人掌遍布公园境内。其他主要景区还有彩色沙漠、石化森林、陨星坑、亚利桑那索诺拉沙漠博物馆等。
We left Qingdao with a family of four and had a direct flight to Las Vegas with a connecting flight in Beijing. After resting in Las Vegas for one night, we started our trip to the Antelope Canyon.
During the Christmas holidays, our family drove around the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, visiting several attractions and national parks along the way, and had an unforgettable Christmas in Las Vegas.
I spared a big circle just to see Horseshoe Bay and Antelope Canyon, and by the way, I saw Lake Powell, which at least completed something in my mind. After stepping into Arizona and moving forward in time by one hour, I began a journey that I will never forget. Unforgettable because there were surprises and touches along the way.
Las Vegas is relatively close to the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon, said to be close, in fact, the drive will take five or six hours to get to! But since we came to Las Vegas, it is still a bit regretful not to go, so I signed up for a two-day tour!
We actually took only 2 days to go from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bay and back to Las Vegas. When we arrived in Las Vegas, it was already evening, because we had been here before, so we didn’t watch the show and eat buffet, we strolled around Las Vegas Strip and went to have dinner.
Next trip, Peggy, the location of Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bay. The two sites are very close to each other, about 15 minutes drive. The only attraction that requires a fee is Antelope Canyon, because it belongs to the Indians, not the U.S. National Park, each person needs to join a group for 40 yuan (must be enrolled in a group to enter the Antelope Canyon, private cars are not allowed to enter da) according to their own online reservation time.
This day was the most anticipated of the whole trip, better than Yellowstone! Fortunately, both Horseshoe Bay and Antelope Canyon are located 10 minutes away from each other in the small town of Page.
During spring break, I had nothing to do, so I asked my school friends to go out and have fun. After considering the places I’ve been and the places they’ve been, I chose to go to the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bay and Lake Powell from Las Vegas.
A promise, a trip, a reunion. I promised amy that I would go to America to play with her before I turned 30, and finally on my 28th birthday, I saved up enough money to go to America, so I took my mom along for the trip ~
How to say it, our trip to the western United States may not be the same as most people’s route, Antelope Canyon I will certainly not miss, but time is very limited, so the route is not so perfect, it may seem to be more around. But these are not important. The important thing is that LK and I have not been together for such a long time since we separated in high school, and we are really happy.
