离开弗里蒙特街的天幕，前往今晚要住的酒店-位于拉斯维加斯大道北端的平流层酒店和赌场（Stratosphere）。这家酒店叫这个名字，主要还是因为它上方就是拉斯维加斯最高的观光塔，高达350米，也是美国西部最高的建筑。

世界上叫做渔人码头的地方多的是，至少我已经去了两个。比如澳门，比如赫尔辛基。但旧金山这个当初由意大利渔夫捣鼓起来的码头似乎名气更大一些。如今这里意大利渔夫基本不见踪迹，却已是旧金山最热门的去处，终年热闹非凡，成了到旧金山的游客必去景点。

我们两家六口洛杉矶进洛杉矶出，以小飞机+直升机+皇包车+房车+自驾等预定相组合的混搭模式，游玩了洛杉矶、圣地亚哥、拉斯维加斯、大峡谷（Grand Canyon）、盐湖城、黄石公园（Yellowstone）、大提顿公园（Grand Titon）、西海岸一号公路，并且参观了加州大学伯克利分校和戴维斯大学。

圣何塞（San Jose），是加州旧金山湾区南部的城市，是加州（人口）第3大城市。地处旧金山湾以南的圣克拉拉谷地（硅谷），为圣克拉拉县首府，临凯奥特河，西北距旧金山65公里，人口948,279(2009)，为美国第10大城市，被誉为“硅谷之心”。
