New World Trade Center Building No. 1, also known as “Freedom Tower”, is located in the former site of the former World Trade Center that collapsed in the September 11 attack. The rebuilt One World Trade Center has 104 floors and is 1,776 feet (541 meters) high, a figure that represents the year the American Declaration of Independence was signed. The One World Observatory and the highest usable floor are 415 meters high, which is the same height as the roof of the original South Tower of the World Trade Center. At 1,776 feet, the New World Trade Center is the tallest building in the United States and the third-tallest building in the world.
Global Welcome Center
After entering, guests will be welcomed by the Global Welcome Center. The large-screen displays here will play rows of greetings, and the dynamically generated world map will highlight the hometown of the guests. . All guests must have time-limited tickets to enter.
Sky Pod Elevator
Guests will take one of five dedicated elevators to the 102nd floor in 60 seconds. Floor-to-ceiling LED technology in each elevator gives guests an immersive virtual time-lapse experience that recreates the evolution of the New York skyline from the 16th century to today.
“Voice of the Heart” and “Foundation”
Guests will enjoy a program called “Voice of the Heart,” which tells the individual stories of the people who built One World Trade Center. Next, “Foundation” will allow guests to take a closer look at the foundation of the building.
SEE FOREVER THEATER (FILM)
Guests will watch an exciting video presentation of around two minutes that combines aerial views, time-lapse abstract textures and patterns to bring together the unique rhythm and energy of New York’s vivid life in three dimensions.
On the 100th floor of the Observation Deck, also known as the “Discovery Level”, guests will experience a 360-degree panoramic view of iconic attractions, the surrounding waters and panoramic views of the city and beyond.
Air Portal
The main feature of the main viewing platform is the air portal. Guests will stand on a 4-meter-wide disc that uses real-time high-definition footage to transmit unforgettable views of the street below.
The Pulse of the City
This interactive skyline puts guests in touch with the iconic buildings and neighborhoods they see. In the city’s veins, global ambassadors are placed under a ring of high-definition video surveillance, equipped with gesture recognition technology, which streams the footage to the screen and provides guests with close-up shots and personalized advice.
