洛杉矶位于美国西海岸，是美国的第二大城市，被誉为“天使之城”。它是美国最重要的旅游城市之一，旅游、购物、电影、娱乐等元素的完美结合，使它闻名于世界；它是娱乐之城，引人入胜的迪斯尼乐园，每年吸引无数的家庭出游；它是电影之城，闻名世界的好莱坞环球影城，令众多明星向往的星光大道，每天有无数的游客埋头寻找他最爱的那颗星；它是旅游之城，洛杉矶最美海滩圣塔莫尼卡海滩，有堪称世界上最美的落日，无数情侣举行浪漫婚礼的最佳地点；它还是富人豪宅之都，峰秀地灵的比佛利山庄，奢华、高端、独特，又幽静的建筑，无数明星、富人向往的豪宅，让人心驰神往。

66号公路始建于1926年，于1938年才宣告完工。它起始于芝加哥，穿越密苏里、德克萨斯州、亚利桑那州等八个州、三个时区，斜贯美国版图一直到加利福尼亚州的洛杉矶，全长2450英里，其跨度、长度、等级与中国109有点类似。
