Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a famous tourist destination in Vancouver, attracting thousands of tourists every year and is one of the most popular attractions in Vancouver. Five years ago, we traveled to Canada and visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

It didn’t feel as beautiful as rumored, and the fees were high and the price/performance ratio was very low. Canada There are many stunning views, and many are free, even if the fees are very low, and this suspension bridge park is not worth visiting.

There are not many attractions in Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, only suspension bridges, tree top adventures, cliff walks and Indian totem poles, etc., and they are not very exciting.

Arrived in Vancouver , picked up the car at the airport, and went straight to the supermarket to buy.

It turned out that the leader of the factory brought his daughter to the hotel to visit us and invited us to a feast.

After dinner, we were also taken to the gate of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

Entrance to “Treetop Adventure”. The so-called “Tree Top Adventure”, also translated as “traveling through the tree”, is said to have originated in France . There are similar ones in China. For example , we have been to the “Wangtianshu” scenic spot in Yunnan . Compared with it, it is really not so magical.

Judging from the introduction of the Capilano Suspension Bridge in the photo, the bridge can be traced back to 1887. It was originally built with hemp rope and wooden boards. In 1914, steel cables and concrete were introduced during the reconstruction.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge, with a total length of 137 meters and a height of 70 meters from the river surface, will shake quite a bit when walking on it. People who are afraid of heights will be a little scared when walking. I have been to many such suspension bridges in China, and this time I did not feel so terrifying.

There are not many totem poles here, and it is much worse than Duncan (The City of the Totems in British Columbia, which is across the sea. The latter is free of charge.

In fact, in recent years, many tourism projects such as “glass plank road” have been built in China, which are much more exciting than those here. In contrast, this “Cliff Walk” is simply “pediatrics”.
